Wesley H. Brown & Peter F. Penner, Christian Perspectives on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (2008). Contributions presented at a conference at International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague. It brought a unique mix of Western Christians, Messianic Jews, and Palestinian Christians together to debate the conflict by listening to perspectives different from one's own. It was a memorable occasion, climaxing in the drafting of the Prague Declaration, included in the book. Order at Neufeld Verlag

Colin Chapman, Whose Promised Land? The continuing crisis over Israel and Palestine (2002). This is by far the most comprehensive, balanced, and informative book on the Middle East conflict and biblical questions related to Israel for a general evangelical audience. Order at amazon.com

Brother Andrew, Al Janssen, Light Force: The only hope for the Middle East (Hodder & Stoughton, 2004). Not at all an academic book, but more of a biography. Easy to read, therefore a book all evangelical can (and should) read. Order at amazon.com

Gary Burge, Whose Land? Whose Promise? What Christians are not being told about Israel and the Palestinians (The Pilgrim Press, 2003).

Stephen Sizer, Christian Zionism: Road map to Armageddon? (InterVarsity, 2004).

D. Brent Sandy, Plowshares & Pruning Hooks: Rethinking the language of biblical prophecy and apocalyptic (InterVarsity, 2002).
